My name is Miguel Sanchez Martin, I am from Spain and our students know me as Mr. Sanchez. I am the fourth-grade ELA-S teacher and I have 15 years of experience. This is my first year at Godsman. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English as a Second Language, a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technologies. Culturally responsive teaching is at the core of my philosophy. I recognize and honor the diverse backgrounds and experiences of my students. I create a classroom environment that respects and values their cultural identities, incorporating diverse perspectives into the curriculum and fostering a sense of belonging. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, watching and playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.
